Several drug-related search warrants were served in five East Bay cities on Wednesday, a Dublin police services lieutenant said. The warrants were linked to three people who ran illegal marijuana grow operations at warehouses in Dublin, San Leandro and Oakland, Dublin police Lt. Herb Walters said.

Additional warrants were served at homes in Dublin, Castro Valley and Danville, as well as at one business in Dublin, Walters said. The warrants were a result of six-week investigation that originated in Dublin. Pleasanton police, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office and the Alameda County narcotics task force assisted in the execution of the warrants.
