Filimon Ramirez wanted for allegedly stabbing a man near Prunedale

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who stabbed a man near Prunedale on Saturday. Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing near Blackie Road and U.S. Highway 101 at about 5:50 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office. Arriving deputies found a man bleeding from one stab wound to his upper left torso. The suspect was identified as Filimon Ramirez, a 39-year-old Prundedale resident, according to the sheriff’s office.

Ramirez was last seen fleeing the scene of the stabbing on foot, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries, the sheriff’s office said. Ramirez was described as a Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair, around 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds.
