Two people injured in shooting on McAllister Street in San Francisco

San Francisco police are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after 2 p.m. today on the 700 block of McAllister Street. Officers found one victim with a gunshot wound to his leg and a second victim a few blocks away who was struck in the face by a bullet fragment, police said. Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries. Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information should call San Francisco police immediately.
