Juan Carlos Chavez Wanted for Alleged Robbery Stealing Pomeranian Puppy Named “Bronxie” in San Jose

San Jose Police Press Release 11/8/13

On October 8, 2013 at approximately 11:37 P.M., an armed robbery occurred on the 700 block of Story Rd in San Jose. The victims placed an advertisement on E-BAY showcasing the sale of a 9 week old, female Pomeranian dog. The suspect, later identified as Juan Chavez, called the victims and arranged a meeting at the above location.

The victims went to the above location and were flagged down by the suspect. The victims allowed the suspect to hold the dog. While holding onto the dog the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded their car. The victims feared for their life and quickly drove off. The suspect fled with the dog and is still outstanding.
