Jorge Ruiz-Martinez was allegedly attempted to drown a woman and her 9-week-old puppy by forcing water down their throats on Sunday.
Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt reports that Jorge Ruiz-Martinez, admitted he had just smoked meth, first attacked the puppy in the woman’s home and when the 67-year-old woman interrupted him,he allegedly attacked her.
The woman said she did not know Martinez.
Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt reported that Martinez first forced water down the puppy’s throat “in an attempt to drown her. The woman pushed him out of the house and locked the door.
Moments later Ruiz-Martinez got back into the home, choked the woman and poured large amounts of water down her throat, “in an attempt to drown her,” Rosenblatt said. The woman fought him off and called deputies, who caught him nearby.
