Man Wanted for Allegedly Robbing Provident Credit Union in Walnut Creek

Police are seeking a man who robbed a credit union in Walnut Creek this morning. The robbery was reported on Monday November 4, 2013, at about 10:30 a.m. at the Provident Credit Union at 742 Bancroft Road, police said. Officers responded and searched the area but did not find the suspect, described as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s with a medium build and buzzed brown hair, according to police.

The robber wore a gray baseball hat with a red bill, aviator-style sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black and white shorts and black socks and shoes, police said. Police have released photos of the suspect walking inside the bank. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured.
