San Francisco shooting in the area of 16th and Mission streets

A man is in stable condition after being shot in San Francisco’s Inner Mission neighborhood this morning, police said. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of 16th and Mission streets at about 2:20 a.m., police said. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the back, according to police. He was transported to a hospital to be treated for his injuries and is in stable condition, police said. No suspect information was immediately available. No arrests have been made.
