A man who was shot and killed in the front yard of an Antioch home Tuesday night has been identified. Antioch resident Andrew Walker, 27, was killed in a shooting reported around 8:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Lopez Drive, near Mission Elementary School, according to a Contra Costa County coroner’s deputy.

Officers arriving on the scene found Walker in a residential front yard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries a short time later. Information about possible suspects or a motive for the killing was not available and police said the investigation is ongoing.
