Police in Oakland are seeking information from the public about a sideshow-related shooting that occurred early Saturday morning. At about 4:15 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a shooting that appears to have happened after two cars involved in illegal sideshow activity collided, police said. The occupants of the cars got into a verbal dispute and then shots were fired, police said. The people involved in the altercation fled before police arrived. No shooting victims were located.

Police have released video footage of the incident and are hoping members of the public will come forward with information. The video shows young men kicking and jumping on a car. There are sounds of glass breaking, a female screaming and then shots fired.
