A suspect was injured in a car crash and the driver of a second vehicle is still at large this morning after an auto burglary that San Jose police are investigating, a police spokeswoman said. Police were called at 4:08 a.m. to the scene of a reported auto burglary in the area of McAbee Road and Almaden Expressway in the Almaden area of South San Jose, police Sgt. Heather Randol said.

Officers witnessed the drivers of two suspect vehicles try to drive away from the area but one of them got into a crash and was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life threatening, Randol said. Police are still seeking the driver of the other car.
