Gold Palace Gold Buying Store Robbed in Antioch, Police Searching for Suspects

Police are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a gold-buying store in Antioch on Thursday afternoon. At about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, police received a call reporting an armed robbery at the Gold Palace, located at 2970 Delta Fair Blvd. The two male suspects were armed with handguns, police said.

No shots were fired during the robbery and no one was injured, according to police.

According to witnesses, the suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of police and were in a brown Lexus that had tinted windows and no license plate.

The first suspect was described as a black man who is about 18 years old, thin and standing between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.

The second suspect was described as a black man between 22 and 25 years old, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds.
