A suspect remains at large after fatally stabbing a woman in San Jose Saturday night, a police sergeant said today. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 600 block of Dakota Drive at about 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Sgt. Heather Randol said. When they arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from at least one stab wound, Randol said.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Randol said the motive of the stabbing is unknown, but the suspect knew the victim. No arrests have been made, she said. The incident is under investigation. The homicide is San Jose’s 36th of the year.
