UPDATE-ARRESTED

The Stockton Police Department is currently seeking Edgar Frayre on a warrant charging him with Murder.

The above pictured suspect has been identified as the shooter in a homicide that occurred on August 30, 2013 in the 600 block of Salem Way. There is a no bail juvenile warrant currently in the system and along with a Ramey Homicide warrant for the suspect, Edgar Frayre, a 19 year old male. Frayre should be considered armed and dangerous. Frayre is possibly en route to Mexico.

Police search for a man suspected of shooting and killing a teenage boy Friday night.

Detectives report that on August 31, 2013, police responded to the 600 block of Salem Way, located in a residential neighborhood in north Stockton and found a 17-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound.

The teen was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.

During the investigation, detectives identified Edgar Frayre as the alleged suspect in the homicide.

Frye is considered armed and dangerous.
