Police in Fairfield conducted an underage alcoholic beverage check Friday and all the businesses were in compliance with the law. Of the 44 businesses visited in the decoy operation, none of the clerks sold the underage decoy alcohol, police said. Police will continue to conduct checks at businesses that sell alcohol in order to reduce the availability of alcoholic beverages to minors.
