Agents of the state Alcoholic Beverage Control suspended three San Jose businesses, all owned by the same person, for illegal activity this week, ABC officials said. Mt. Pleasant Bottle Shop, at 3078 Story Road; Tropicana Liquor, at 2770 Story Road; and Kwikee Mart, at 2044 McKee Road were issued the suspensions for illegal gambling operations and selling counterfeit DVDs, officials said.

The notices for suspension were posted Thursday. The two Story Road businesses are suspended for 25 days, while the Kwikee Mart has a 15-day suspension, according to the ABC. No alcohol can be sold during the suspension. All three businesses are on probation for a year.
