Tyler Weber and Fallon Furtado Arrested by Santa Cruz County Gang Task Force

Two people were arrested during a routine gang suppression patrol in Watsonville on Wednesday evening. A Watsonville police officer and a sheriff’s deputy who are part of the Santa Cruz County Gang Task Force conducted a traffic stop at about 7:10 p.m. in the area of Holm Road and Jeanette Way, task force officials said. During the stop, they searched the car and found methamphetamine, prescription pills, a small amount of heroin and two handguns, according to the task force.
Two people were taken into custody. They were identified as Tyler Weber, 26, of Watsonville, and Fallon Furtado, 22, of Santa Cruz. Weber was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances with the intent to sell and various firearm violations. Furtado was arrested for possession of controlled substances and other drug-related offenses. The incident marked the 17th gun seizure this year by the gang task force.
