Two teenagers were arrested in South San Francisco on Sunday after they allegedly assaulted a man at a party and stole his electronic cigarette, according to police. Officers responded to reports of an assault at a residence in the 2600 block of Meath Drive at about 10:55 p.m., according to South San Francisco police.
The victim had been in the garage of the residence when two other people at the party, Patrick Legaspi and Sean Steiner, both 19, started punching him in the head, police said. The victim fell to the ground and the two suspects stole an electronic cigarette and attempted to take the victim’s shoes, police said.
Responding officers were able to track down the two suspects in a parking lot a short distance away from the scene, police said. One of the suspects still had the victim’s E-cigarette in his possession, police said. Steiner and Legaspi were arrested for robbery and assault and booked at San Mateo County Jail.
