A transient woman was arrested following a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Scotts Valley on Tuesday, according to police. Police arrested 28-year-old Fallon Adriana Filippi for evading police, driving while intoxicated on DUI probation and for having two warrants out for her arrest. At about noon on Tuesday, officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Scotts Valley Drive, police said.
Filippi failed to yield to officers and led them on a high-speed pursuit. She eventually stopped when she became lost in a residential neighborhood, according to police. Officers took Filippi into custody and booked her into the Santa Cruz County Jail. According to police, Filippi was also driving on a suspended driver’s license and was on DUI probation. Her vehicle also had an expired registration. She was staying at a hotel in Scotts Valley and officers conducted a search on her room, but did not find any further evidence of crimes committed.
