Deputies arrested a 22-year-old man and seized almost $1.5 million of marijuana from a home in Suisun City on Tuesday. Arthur Creggett, of Suisun City, was arrested for cultivation of marijuana and for possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, deputies said. Shortly after noon on Tuesday, Suisun City police contacted detectives at the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, the California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team and the Solano County Narcotics Enforcement regarding a large amount of marijuana being grown at a home in the 500 block of Wigeon Way, deputies said.
Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence and found two rooms used for growing marijuana plants. Detectives confiscated about 485 marijuana plants, with a potential street value of $1,455,000, deputies said. About 15 ounces of processed marijuana valued at about $4,500 was also located inside the residence and seized by detectives, according to sheriff’s deputies.
According to deputies, the residence had a number of modifications, including added walls, an air filtration system and rerouted electrical services into the residence. PG&E crews were called to the residence to disconnect the power, deputies said. Creggett was booked into Solano County Jail and released after posting $15,000 in bail, according to sheriff’s deputies.
