Andre Freeman arrested for alleged attempted robbery infront of San Carlos House of Bagels

San Carlos, CA: On August 13, 2013, at approximately 7:48 pm, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies received report of an attempted robbery having just occurred in front of the San Carlos House of Bagels. Deputies arrived on scene within moments of the original call and began searching the area.
In speaking with the victim, it was relayed he had been parked and seated in his car when he was approached by three male subjects. One of the subjects placed his hand in his waistband, simulating a weapon and demanded that the victim give him his wallet. In a state of fear, the victim failed to comply with the instruction, after which the three subjects left the scene on foot. Deputies located three subjects in the vicinity matching the descriptions provided by the victim.
The victim positively identified one of them; 30 year old Andre Freeman, as the individual who attempted to rob him of his wallet. Suspect Freeman was transported and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility without incident.
