The Napa Police Department arrested two transients with outstanding warrants Thursday night, a police captain said. Officers responded to the 3100 block of Jefferson Street after 9 p.m. and arrested Napa residents Ruben Patino, 29, and Jennifer Fields, 28, police said.

Upon searching Patino, officers found a small amount of methamphetamine and several Hydrocodone pills in his pocket, Capt. Jeff Troendly said. Patino has two outstanding arrests and is on probation, Troendly said. Fields has one outstanding arrest. Both were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections.
