Fairfield police arrested two people in connection with a drive-by shooting Tuesday evening. Police were informed at 6:30 p.m. of the shooting at people on the street in the area of Villa Court and East Tabor Avenue, Sgt. Troy Oviatt said. No one was hit by gunfire. Witnesses gave very detailed descriptions of the shooting suspect and the vehicle, and police made a high-risk stop of the black 1999 GMC Suburban as it fled the area, Oviatt said. Akeli Blake, 21, of Fairfield, was arrested for the shooting and a probation violation, and Angelica Lopez, 22, of Fairfield, was arrested for aiding and abetting a felon, Oviatt said. Both were booked in the Solano County jail. Police found the firearm used in the shooting inside the SUV, Oviatt said.
