Deangelo Natividad Arrested for Alleged Possession of illegal Handgun in Novato

A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a loaded illegal handgun in Novato on Thursday afternoon, police said. At about 1:50 p.m., police responded to 7320 Redwood Blvd. on a report that a man was in possession of a firearm. Officers located Novato resident Deangelo Natividad, 22, in front of a business. Police said Natividad is on probation.

Officers located a loaded handgun nearby and determined that the gun had been in Natividad’s possession. The gun’s serial number had been destroyed, police said. He was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm, violation of probation, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, police said.
