An Oakland man has been arrested for allegedly kicking a woman in the head while robbing her during Pride weekend in San Francisco last month, police said today. Christopher Porter-Bailey, 23, was arrested last Friday for the attack, which happened near Market and Dolores streets at about 1:50 a.m. on June 30 after the Pink Saturday celebration.

The victim, a 28-year-old woman, was robbed of her purse by a group of suspects and was knocked to the pavement. While she was down, one suspect kicked her in the head, causing her to lose consciousness, according to police. Days later, police released surveillance video of the attack, which sent the woman to the hospital. She has since been treated and released.

Police were eventually able to identify the suspect in the attack as Porter-Bailey, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

He was arrested and booked into custody on suspicion of robbery, aggravated assault and battery likely to produce serious injury, Esparza said. Investigators are also trying to determine whether Porter-Bailey and other suspects in the group committed other robberies and assaults around the same time period along Market Street between Civic Center and the Castro District.

  • Someone like that needs to go to prison for a very long long time. They had already taken what they wanted from her there was no reason to kick her, he did that because he wanted to hurt her, he is straight EVIL and he should go to the pen for at least 10 years straight no half time , no good time work time at least 10 years straight see if he feels like Robbin and kicking women when that ten years is up! EVIL
