One person was injured in a shooting in East San Jose tonight, according to police. Shots were reported on the 2100 block of Commodore Drive at 9:18 p.m., but officers could not locate a victim, Sgt. Jason Dwyer said. However, a male victim thought to be connected with the shooting walked into an emergency room with at least one gunshot wound. His injuries are considered non-life threatening, Dwyer said.
No further victims have been identified. Investigators determined that shots were fired into the garage area of a residence, but the motive behind the shooting remains unknown. Witnesses at the scene were uncooperative with officers. Police were searching the area for possible suspects tonight.
