Two men were arrested in Fairfield Friday for drug trafficking following a two-month long investigation, according to police. Eric Brown, 24, of Fairfield, and Ovonte Kendall, 25, of Richmond, were arrested at a home in the 200 block of Tabor Avenue, police said. Over the last two months, the Fairfield Police Department’s Special Operations Team was investigating drug trafficking at the residence.

A search warrant was served around 4 p.m. Friday turned up marijuana for sale and a cache of firearms were recovered. Police said officers found three handguns and a sub-machine gun pistol at the home. According to police, one of the handguns was determined stolen in a 2007 residential burglary in Suisun City. The two men were arrested for possession of an assault weapon, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana for sales and for maintaining a drug house, police said.
