One person was knocked unconscious in an attack in a liquor store parking lot in unincorporated Redwood City on Saturday, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said today. Police were called to the parking lot of One Stop Liquors at 390 4th Avenue in the North Fair Oaks area shortly after 10 p.m. on a report of a large fight, officials said. Two victims were located, one of whom had been beaten unconscious, officials said.

Witnesses told investigators that the victims were attacked by a group of 3-4 men who kicked and punched them and then drove away in a silver four-door sedan. One victim, an 18-year-old male, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The other victim was treated at the scene and released. The suspects were described as Pacific Islander males, officials said.
