A man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood late Thursday night, according to police. At about 11:40 p.m. two adult male suspects approached a man near the intersection of Paris Street and Persia Avenue, just west of John McLaren Park. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and demanded the victim’s property.

The suspects took the victim’s items and shot him in the upper part of his right arm, police said. The suspects fled from the scene before police arrived. They are described as adult black males in their 20s. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
