A woman’s son attacked her with a knife in Boyes Hot Springs Wednesday night, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Around 7:15 p.m. the woman called authorities and deputies found the woman near the Acacia Grove Mobile Home Park with a severe cut to her neck, sheriff’s officials said.
She was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and treated for her injury. Investigators learned that the woman had allegedly been in an argument at the mobile home park with her son, identified as 37-year-old Charles Farmer, of Boyes Hot Springs, sheriff’s officials said. During the argument, Farmer allegedly brandished a large knife and cut his mother’s throat. She was able to get away and call authorities, sheriff’s officials said. Deputies are still searching for Farmer.
