Man Robs Store for Iphone in San Francisco, Police Release Video of Suspect

The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this video. Detective Sullivan reports that on March 20, 2013, this suspect entered a retail store at the 1700 block of Lombard Street and inquired about purchasing an Iphone.

The suspect then allegedly quickly grabbed and ripped the iPhone from the employee and ran from the store. The employee gave chase for several blocks. The suspect pulled out an object from his waistband that appeared to be a handgun. The employee watched the suspect enter a waiting vehicle at Gough and Green. The vehicle fled south on Gough St.
