Contra Costa Water District officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for a district van that was stolen from Pleasant Hill overnight. The van was parked at a home in Pleasant Hill, district spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said. “Not knowing the intent of the thieves, if they try to pass themselves off as a CCWD employee, we want to make sure the community is aware,” she said. The vehicle stolen is a 2005 Ford E350 cargo van with a roof-mounted ladder rack, license plate number 1194488 and CCWD vehicle number 912.
