Police have released sketches of a man who is suspected of robbing a market in Scotts Valley last week, according to police. Police are seeking a suspect in connection with the armed robbery that occurred at about 9:20 p.m. on Thursday. According to police, a man armed with a handgun robbed the Scotts Valley Market, located at 14 Victor Square.

The suspect purchased two items and then drew a handgun and demanded money from the register. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect ordered the clerk to the ground, police said. The suspect then fled the store on foot in an unknown direction and has not been found, according to police.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 30 to 36 years old who is between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. The man had a Band-Aid on his left cheek and a tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a gray or brown baseball hat, dark blue jeans, a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering that read “Cali” and blue Vans-type shoes with white laces, police said.
