Christian Comilang and Johnson Cular Shot to Death in San Jose

San Jose Police Department Press Release 5/29/13

The San Jose Police Department is currently investigating the City’s 17th and 18th Homicide of 2013. On 5/26/2013 at approximately 6:28 P.M., The SJPD “911” Communications Center received a call regarding two people who were shot in the 300 block of Caribe Way in East San Jose. Officers arrived and located two male victims who were suffering from at least one gun shot wound each. One of the victims was immediately pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the two victims’ as 15 year old Christian Comilang and 16 year old Johnson Cular. Both victim’s were San Jose resident’s

The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. The unidentified suspect(s) have not been located and remain at large.
