Triple shooting in San Francisco near Rondel Place and 16th Street

Three suspects were arrested in connection with a triple shooting in San Francisco’s Inner Mission district this morning, according to police. At about 3:50 a.m. three victims were injured in a shooting near the intersection of Rondel Place and 16th Street, about one block from the 16th Street BART station, police said. According to police, one victim was shot in the torso and two victims were shot in the legs.

All three victims were transported to the hospital. One victim was suffering life-threatening injuries and two victims were suffering injuries not considered to be life-threatening, according to police. Officers located a suspect vehicle in the area and detained three occupants of the suspect vehicle following the shooting, police said. Police located two firearms in the suspect vehicle and arrested the three suspects in connection with the shooting.

A police vehicle responding to the scene was involved in a collision, but no major injuries were reported, according to police. The suspects’ identities have not been released, police said.
