A man was arrested after Monterey County sheriff’s deputies conducted an enforcement stop in Carmel Valley Friday evening, sheriff’s officials said. Deputies conducted the enforcement stop of a 2004 Nissan Sedan for vehicle code violations on Carmel Valley Road at about 5:45 p.m. Friday, according to the sheriff’s office. Ronnie Ray Glaze, 22, of Seaside, was on state parole for spousal abuse, and had not been issued a California driver’s license, according to the sheriff’s office. Glaze had been previously convicted of spousal abuse and other felony crimes, and was not permitted to possess firearms, the sheriff’s office said. A check of the car discovered a concealed, illegally possessed, sawed-off rifle. Glaze was booked into Monterey County Jail.
