Round Table Pizza at 399 First St. Los Altos robbed ID needed

Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a Los Altos pizza parlor on Friday night. The robbery happened at a Round Table Pizza at 399 First St. at about 9:30 p.m. when the suspect entered the restaurant, brandished a handgun and took cash, Los Altos police said. He then fled on foot, heading south on First Street toward Lyell Street, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s or early 30s, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds, police said. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gloves, and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, according to police. Police are also searching for a person of interest who may have been at the scene prior to the robbery.

The person of interest is believed to be a white man about 30 years old, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds, police said. Police have released a forensic sketch of the person of interest in the hopes of identifying him.
