16 Year Old Boy Shot and Killed in East Palo Alto

At approximately 10:57 PM, East Palo Alto Police Officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation on the 2800 block of Fordham Street.
Officers arrived and found 3 shooting victims. There was a 4th occupant, a 17 year old Hispanic male, whom was unharmed. Menlo Park Fire personnel arrived and provided medical aid to the victims. A 16 year old Hispanic male had sustained multiple gunshots wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other two shooting victims, a 15 and 16 year old Hispanic males, were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victims had been sitting together inside a vehicle. The unknown suspect(s) then approached the vehicle, fired multiple rounds into the vehicle, and striking 3 of the 4 occupants.
At this point, police determined the unknown shooting suspects were possibly two Hispanic males, who were seen fleeing the scene, and possibly left in an awaiting gray or silver sedan. The motive is unknown at this time.
