Napa Fast Food Restaurant Robbed Of Deposit Bag

A Taco Bell employee was punched and robbed of a bank deposit bag this morning, according to Napa police. The employee had the deposit bag stolen from her shortly before 9 a.m. at the restaurant at 155 Soscol Ave., according to police. The suspect then punched the employee in the face and ran west through the parking lot toward a Home Depot store. A second suspect seen in a gray pickup truck that was stopped in the Taco Bell parking lot drove in the same direction the first suspect ran, police said. The victim was not injured, and the case remains under investigation. A number of people drove by the area during the robbery.
