Demetrius Porter Found Fatally Stabbed in San Jose

A man found fatally stabbed in south San Jose early Thursday morning has been identified by police as 36-year-old Demetrius Porter. Officers responded at 1:18 a.m. Thursday to a report of a man down in the 400 block of Blossom Hill Road and found Porter, who had multiple injuries believed to be caused by a sharp cutting instrument, police said

Porter, who was apparently a transient, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. No arrests had been made and no suspect information was immediately available from police as of this morning.
