Martinez Women Arrested For Alleged Pleasant Hill Burglary

A Martinez woman was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Pleasant Hill home after authorities located some of the stolen items during probation search of her residence, police said. Shortly after 4 p.m. on May 6, a resident of the 700 block of Harvard Drive in Pleasant Hill arrived home to find that the residence had been burglarized and that jewelry, electronics and several other items were missing, police said. Investigators learned that the suspect appeared to be a white female driving a gold Chevrolet SUV. During a probation search of a home in Martinez, police found several of the items stolen from the Pleasant Hill home. The Martinez resident, identified as Amanda Bruntz, 23, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property. Bruntz was taken to county jail in Martinez.
