Police assisted Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center staff this morning after a patient threatened a nurse, a hospital spokeswoman said. The incident at the medical center, located at 975 Sereno Drive, occurred around 6 a.m., spokeswoman Deniene Erickson said.

She said the hospital “took action promptly,” and that with the help of police, “the situation has been resolved.” The hospital and police have not yet released details about the incident. Erickson said the hospital is providing support for any employees involved. The patient who made the threat is being treated, she said.
