Three people, including a 71-year-old man, avoided injury when someone shot at their car in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Tuesday evening, police said today. The shooting was reported at 6:27 p.m. in the 100 block of Blythedale Avenue.

The victims, two men ages 71 and 50 and a 36-year-old woman, were driving east on Blythedale when they saw two suspects running toward them, according to police. When they heard a gunshot, they quickly drove away. A short time later, they got out of the car and realized there was a bullet hole in the driver’s side rear passenger door, police said. No one was injured, and the suspects, believed to be two men in their 20s, were still at large this morning, according to police.
