Male Victim Shot In Bayview Shooting

A male victim was shot in San Francisco’s Bayview District this afternoon, a police spokesman said. The shooting was reported at about 2:50 p.m. in the first block of Latona Street, police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi said. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening, Manfredi said. No suspect information was immediately available, Manfredi said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
