Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of stabbing two people in Novato on Monday evening. Investigators believe Jamesha Renee Clark, 24, of Novato, got into an argument with a 27-year-old woman outside Clark’s apartment at 805 Diablo Road at about 6:20 p.m., Novato police Sgt. Jennifer Dunlap said. Clark allegedly stabbed that woman and a 25-year-old man who tried to intervene, Dunlap said.

The injured woman fled to a 7-Eleven for help, and Clark was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon when she showed up at the Novato Police Department at 9:20 p.m., Dunlap said. She was booked into Marin County Jail and was being held on $50,000 bail. The female victim suffered cuts to both arms and was treated at a hospital. The male victim was treated at the same hospital for a cut to his left hand, Dunlap said.
