Seven juveniles were arrested late this morning after they were pulled over in a car stolen from a Sunnyvale neighborhood earlier today, a police spokesman said. Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers assisted the California Highway Patrol after the CHP notified them that they were following a stolen vehicle through their city, Capt. Dave Pitts said. At 11:46 a.m., the car was stopped at South Wolfe Road and East Fremont Avenue and seven minors inside the car were taken into custody, Pitts said. The car had been stolen from the 700 block of Lakehaven Drive in Sunnyvale around 7:30 a.m., Pitts said. No injuries were reported, Pitts said.
