A man has been arrested in San Leandro for allegedly slashing tires in more than 20 separate incidents throughout town, according to police. Police arrested San Leandro resident Bob Razavi on April 7, and say they believe he is responsible for numerous tire slashings over the past month, police said. A specialized enforcement operation was organized to investigate the vandalism, and the investigation led police to Razavi, who allegedly threatened to harm a police officer at one point, according to police. Razavi was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and making threats against a police officer. Police Lt. Randall Brandt said he has been charged in Alameda County Superior Court in connection with the vandalism. A district attorney’s spokeswoman was not immediately available to provide details on the charges.
