Dixon police arrested a man Saturday who is suspected of committing lewd acts on five children over an 11-year period. Corey Wilkins, 34, was booked in the Solano County Jail on 15 counts of committing lewd acts with the boys and girls who were between 9 and 17 years old, Dixon police Chief Jon Cox said. Wilkins bail is set at $500,000, according to Cox. The suspect gives private music lessons, but none of the alleged victims were his students, Cox said.
Wilkins is related to some of the alleged victims and others were known to him, Cox said. The alleged lewd acts were committed in Wilkins’ residences in Dixon and Vacaville. Wilkins was between residences when he was arrested in Vacaville on Saturday, according to Cox. The alleged sexual offenses came to light shortly before Wilkins was arrested, Cox said.
Dixon police are asking anyone with additional information about the investigation to call police at (707) 678-7070.
