22 Catalytic Converters Stolen From Newark Auto Parts Yard

Police are investigating the theft of 22 catalytic converters from a recycled auto yard in Newark on Wednesday, police said. At about 11 a.m. police responded to a theft at Pick-n-Pull, a self-service auto parts store at 7400 Mowry Ave. Based on the police investigation, the suspects cut a hole in the perimeter fence, entered the yard and stole 22 catalytic converters overnight. The theft occurred between 3 p.m. on Tuesday and 5:10 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.
