Robbery Crime Spree, San Leandro Police Release Suspect Photos

San Leandro Police are trying to identify two men who have conducted a series of armed robberies in San Leandro since the beginning of the year, according to police. The two suspects robbed at least four stores at gunpoint between January and March of this year, including Home Depot, Rite Aid, Grocery Outlet and Dollar Tree, according to police.

Detectives believe the suspects may be responsible for several more robberies in San Leandro, as well as robberies in neighboring cities. The two suspects are described as black men between 25 and 35 years of age, standing about 6 feet tall, police said.

The first suspect is weighs between 180 to 225 pounds and was wearing a beanie hat and a sweatshirt at the time of the robberies.

The second suspect weighs between 210 and 260 pounds. He was wearing a long sleeve shirt and sweatpants during at least one of the robberies. He was also armed with a handgun during the Grocery Outlet robbery, police said.
