Investigators are trying to track down a man who fired shots in a mobile home park in unincorporated Redwood City on Monday evening. At about 7:40 p.m., deputies responded to the mobile home park, located in the 700 block of Barron Avenue, after witnesses reported hearing gunshots, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, deputies found a storage shed with bullet holes in it and shell casings on the ground, sheriff’s officials said. Several witnesses reported seeing a suspect run from the scene and get into a car that then drove off.
They described the vehicle as a silver or gray SUV with chrome rims. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early to mid-20s. Deputies searched the area but didn’t find the man. No one appeared to have been injured by the gunfire, sheriff’s officials said.
